Superbe endroit au calme
Points positifs : Cette maison est absolument charmante, refait à neuf et avec goût, spacieuse, très lumineuse. L’extérieur est très agréable avec jolie vue. L’emplacement est idéal dans la campagne : nature et calme. Tout en étant proche des châteaux. Un sapin était installé pour cette période de fête top. Et une gentille attention nous attendait à notre arrivée. Les chiens sont autorisés :)
Points négatifs : -Le prix est un peu élevé pour 2 personnes (plus de 210€ la nuitée) pour une famille entière c’est mieux. -Une caution est demandée en amont via un lien.

Lovely house, hope to return in future
Points positifs : The house is a lovely renovated barn in a tranquil, rural area but still only 6 km from Azay-le-Rideau. The contact with Nadia was very pleasant, quick and helpful. Specially the photos she sent to find the entrance of the house were very useful. The house is bright, was clean, well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, fireplace with wood, all one needs in the kitchen, enough towels, basic items like salt, pepper, oil, tea, detergent etc), felt like coming home to friends. The furniture and beds are of a good quality. The house is equipped for small children and the closed garden a joy for our little dog. Enough space to park several cars. Wifi good. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in future.
Points négatifs : The only thing a bit missing is a space in the shower for shampoo etc. We were only 2 adults, so we had ample space. The house is published for 5 adults and a child. One upstairs bedroom is very small though, so we would not recommend for more than 4 adults and 1 or 2 smaller children.

A most excellent and relaxing stay in Touraine - will return. Highly recommended.
Points positifs : This is an absolutely excellent gite and we are looking to return again. The location is great - it's around 10 minutes from Azay le Rideau (chateau, restaurant and supermarket) and close to major tourist attractions, nature walks and local produce / markets. The gite itself is very private within a very calm and relaxing hamlet. We loved the garden, the terrace and the decor in the house. There is a wood burning stove that looks very enticing (but it was too warm at night to use). This is a very well equipped house and we had a very comfortable, even luxurious, stay here. Well done to the hosts. Our welcome was managed remotely (via WhatsApp) which was fine.
Points négatifs : The €500 deposit took me by surprise and is only mentioned in the small print which I found a but uncouth (Booking.com take note!). This should be very clearly stated at the point of booking although when I called the rental company they were able to reassure me. While this is standard practice in France it was not charged for other gites booked through this website! The washing machine also did not work and was not able to be repaired for our stay - we were not offered any recompense for this inconvenience.

A beautiful, very comfortable, well equipped, gite
Points positifs : Generously sized for a family of four, with a large and very comfortable sofa, comfortable beds and great, light, spaces. We visited at Christmas and we found the gite decorated with a real tree (with little gifts for the children) and various Christmas decorations. A really lovely touch - thank you!

Points positifs : We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house! The home is stylish, beautifully decorated, and very functional – clearly designed with families in mind. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and convenient for cooking. Everything was in great condition, clean, and well-maintained. The surrounding nature is stunning – endless sunflower fields, a nearby river, and peaceful scenery all around. We are a family of four (two adults and two children), and each of our kids found their own cozy corner in the house. The veranda with a large table and barbecue was perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. Overall, we had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
